Overdrive is an explosive short film portraying the intense emotional and physical effects of Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), a severe menstrual-related mood disorder affecting 1 in 20 menstruating people. The film aims to raise awareness of the disorder, which is often misdiagnosed, under-researched, and linked to high rates of suicidal ideation. Overdrive is both a personal and universal story about feeling at war with oneself. |
