| Notes: | In Christmas 2025, Waitrose released ‘The Perfect Gift’- starring Keira Knightley and comedian Joe Wilkinson. Rather than creating a traditional supermarket ad, they produced a mini festive romcom where food drives the plot: a supermarket meet-cute leads, falling in love, misunderstandings, reconciliation and a homemade turkey pie that becomes the ultimate gesture of love. By prioritising entertainment over interruption, Waitrose created national conversation and primetime engagement, reinforcing its ‘The Home of food lovers’ positioning and driving both brand and business impact beyond the core campaign. |
